Jakarta - Penyanyi Afgan memang piawai membawakan lagu mellow. Namun ternyata hal tersebut tak membuat ia nyaman. Afgan nggak mau dicap mellow melulu.

Karenanya untuk album kedua, Afgan telah mempersiapkan materi yang berbeda. Afgan menambahkan unsur musik yang tak akan didapatkan dalam album perdananya, 'Confenssion No.1'.

"Ada disko-diskonya gitu. Kayak tahun 70-an. Pokoknya beda banget deh," ujar Afgan.

Namun tak bisa dipungkiri setiap lagu mellow yang dirilis Afgan langsung dilahap oleh penggemarnya. Mereka terus mengidolakan pria berlesung pipi tersebut. Bahkan jumlah Afganisme (panggilan untuk pecinta Afgan .red) pun semakin berkembang pesat.

"Ubah imej sih nggak. Cuma saya juga ingin menunjukan kalau saya juga bisa menyanyikan dengan warna lain. Tapi kan harus disesuaikan sama permintaan fans. Jadi 50-50 lah," tuturnya.
